
2024 Mitsubishi Xpander arrives in two variants

MITSUBISHI Motors Malaysia's (MMM) update of its' popular multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) includes the introduction of an additional variant.
Unlike the pre-update, the locally assembled (CKD) 2024 Xpander comes in both Standard and Plus variant.
A grand majority of what the Plus has that the Standard doesn't come with is mostly found in the cabin under the MMM authorised dealer package.

This includes: a new All-Round Monitor (ARM) with guidelines, front and first-in-class rear Driving Video Recorder (DVR), door visor, interior scuff plate, leatherette seat, wireless charger, tailgate spoiler, side sills and front and rear bumper in silver accent.
While the Standard misses out on the ARM and DVR it still has reverse camera, and it's front and back bumper is in Black Accent.
New to the Xpander besides the ARM, rear DVR, wireless charger, SIlver Accent bumpers, and tailgate spoiler are: T-shape LED headlamps, T-illumination LED tail lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, scuff plate, sporty steering wheel with audio and cruise control, Digital Climate Control, premium soft touch, 9-inch multimedia display with Apple Car Play and Android Auto Ready, leatherette centre console arm rest, second row arm rest with cup holder, and electronic parking brake and brake auto hold.

Both variants come with a new, best-in-class 225mm high ground clearance.
Performance between the remains largely similar with the two sharing a returning 1.5 MIVEC petrol engine with an aluminium block. The setup delivers 105 PS at 6,000 rpm and 141 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
Price of the standard Xpander and Plus variant is going for RM99,980 and RM109,980, respectively. Both variants come with a 5-Year warranty with unlimited mileage.
