Proton has unveiled the updated 2024 version of the X50. While it mostly remains unchanged, there are minor refinements made to the interior and underpinnings.

First of all, the 2024 Proton X50 is still using the same a 1.5L MPi (150PS/226Nm) and a 1.5L TGDi (177PS/255Nm) 3-cylinder engines, both paring to the same 7-speed DCT from Proton.

The main update for the 2024 model year X50 are: 
1. Vehicle NVH enhancements
2. Power tailgate as standard on the Premium & Flagship variant
3. New centre infotainment head unit
4. 360º HD surround view camera as standard on the Premium & Flagship variant

The 2024 Proton X50 comes in 5 body colour options, that includes Snow White, Armour Sliver, Jet Grey, Ocean Blue and Passion Red.

The first 5,000 customers will receive an Early Bird Package worth up to RM14,500, that includes of RM7,000 cash rebate, RM1,500 trade-in overtrade support and RM6,000 value-added features.

The 2024 Proton X50 is now available for sale, comes with a 5-year unlimited mileage factory warranty, 5-year data package (1GB per month), 6 free labor service, low loan interest rate of 2.28% and Proton insurance package.
