UMW Toyota Motor is starting 2025 with an update to its popular Gazoo Racing variant models.

The trio which includes the GR Yaris, GR Corolla, and Corolla GR Sport recieves a range of 2025 updates mainly on their aesthetics.

2025 GR Yaris

The 2025 GR Yaris has a redesigned front fascia, featuring the Functional Matrix Ver.2 which improves air intake capacity and flow enhances cooling and aerodynamics, while the rear’s updated exhaust, diffuser and lighting design emphasise the vehicle’s wide impression and low stance. 

Inside is a 12.3-inch GR Full TFT meter, a Driver-First cockpit with a lower driving position, and race-inspired details such as red-accented seatbelts and an expanded passenger-side tray with USB power. 

Powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged G16E-GTS engine that delivers 300PS and 400Nm of torque, the car's powertrain setup is paired with Toyota’s renowned GR-Four All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system.

The 2025 GR Yaris is available in four colours that includes a new Precious Metal. Price of the car starts at RM315,600.

2025 GR Corolla

Further enhancing its dynamic capability, the 2025 GR Corolla features suspension upgrades that emcompasses rebound springs and optimised spring rates to deliver enhanced agility and stability. 

Exclusively paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, the car's highlight is its GR-Four AWD system that is powered by an advanced G16E-GTS 1.6L-T turbocharge 3- cylinder engine that delivers 300PS and 400Nm of torque. 

It has widened wheel arches and the GR-specific triple exhaust system that contribute to both performance and visual appeal. 

Cabin features rally-tuned seats, gun-metallic trims, and a digital display that provides real-time performance data such as AWD torque split and turbo pressure. 

Available in Platinum White Pearl Mica, Precious Black, Precious Metal and Emotional Red 2 colours, the 2025 GR Corolla's starting price is RM367,000.

2025 Corolla GR Sport

The 2025 Corolla GR Sport’s exterior design features a two-tone colour scheme featuring a black roof, a GR Sport-specific grille with honeycomb mesh, and aerodynamic accents on the bumpers and rear spoiler. 

It also comes with exclusive GR Sport 18-inch alloy redesigned wheels with a bold, multi-spoke pattern.

Interior seats primed for comfort and lateral support are in premium suede and leather with red stitching provide, while the GR-branded steering wheel and smoke silver metallic trim further emphasises the model’s sporty aesthetic. 

Other feature highlights includes a 10-inch high-definition audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, and rear air-conditioning vents.

Safety remains a top priority with the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) suite. The likes of pre-collision systems, lane tracing assist, a 3D panoramic view monitor, rear cross-traffic alert and dynamic radar cruise control are offered as standard. 

The Corolla GR Sport is powered by a 1.8-litre engine paired with a 10-speed Sport Sequential Shiftmatic CVT.

Its price starts at RM149,800 and is available in stylish two-tone colour options such as Platinum White Pearl Mica, Red Mica Metallic and Attitude Black Mica with a Black Roof.
