Proton officially confirmed that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is coming to thier new cars, the current S70 and X90 will get it too!

According to Proton, they are in the process of obtaining the licenses for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Once these licenses are approved, the upcoming X70 facelift and X50 facelift could feature these apps from the factory.

Proton also mentioned, most older models (X50/X70) are not applicable for OTA updates due to the older infotaiment hardware on those models.

However, newer models like the X90 and the S70, which feature the latest infotainment hardware, are most likely to get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity via OTA updates.
