CHERY Malaysia donated a charitable sum to the National Sports Trust Fund (KWASN) to further support the development of Malaysia's sports industry and local athletes.
RM50,000 was presented to the KWASN which is a grant-based fund under the Youth and Sports ministry.

The gesture reflects the strategic collaboration between the two, with the trust fund supporting the organisation of national and international-level tournaments as well as athlete participation, either through official sports associations or on an individual basis.
The sum was handed over to Youth and Sports minister Hannah Yeoh during the launch of the Chery Tiggo Cross, a model whose global entry according to the automaker has played a pivotal role in strengthening the brand’s international presence and building global trust.

Chery Malaysia vice president Michael Chew expanded on the launch of the Tiggo Cross in Malaysia as it builds on the strong global performance of the brand’s Tiggo line-up.
Michael added that Chery Malaysia has also experienced rapid growth since the brand's introduction into the local market.
“From just a handful of outlets when we began in July 2023, we now proudly operate 58 outlets nationwide, including in Sabah and Sarawak.
“Since then, we have introduced four exciting models to the Malaysian market — and I can confidently say, there’s much more coming in the second half of the year,” said Michael.

In March this year, Chery celebrated the export of one million Tiggo Cross units from Dalian Port in China marking a major milestone for the model’s global success.
In Malaysia the Tiggo Cross 1.5L Turbocharged engine variant is priced at RM88,800 while the Hybrid CSH variant comes in at RM99,800.
