Sime Darby Motors introduces the enhanced version of the BYD Atto 3 today, featuring upgraded features and new color options. Now open for bookings, it is priced at RM149,800.

The exterior of the enhanced Atto 3 retains its familiar overall design. However, some details have been reimagined, such as the white panel on the D-pillar being repainted black, and the "Build Your Dreams" wording on the rear boot being replaced by a simple "BYD" character. 

On the other hand, the interior also receives some new elements, notably a new interior color option - "Black-Dark Blue". 

Additionally, the center infotainment display has been enlarged from 12.8 inches to 15.6 inches, while still supporting wired Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto.

Other than screen and interior colour, the new Atto 3 also been given a wireless phone charging pad, which the previous does not have.

Powering the new BYD Atto 3 is a 49.92kWh battery pack, and a single electric motor FWD setup. The motor is able to put out a total power of 203hp/310Nm, 0 to 100km/h in 7.9s. As for range, it is able to travel up to 345km according to WLTP's range test standard, 410km for NEDC standard.

The enhanced Atto 3 is now available in a new "Cosmos Black" body colour, making a total of four body colour options. 

Lastly, the enhanced Atto 3 will be available in only a single variant and comes with a comprehensive 6-year/150,000km vehicle warranty, an 8-year/160,000km battery warranty, and an 8-year/150,000km drive unit warranty upon purchase.
