FIRST shipment of Jetour Auto Malaysia's Dashing model has arrived in Malaysia in anticipation to be delivered to customers following the upcoming launch event.

The shipment, which arrived at Port Klang recently, fulfils pre-orders made by Malaysian consumers since May 2024.

Deliveries to customers who have placed pre-orders will commence immediately following the official launch event on Wednesday, 9 April. 

Jetour states that it is committed to ensuring all pre-order customers receive their vehicles according to the scheduled timeline.

“This is a significant moment for Jetour and for Malaysian drivers,” said Jetour Auto Malaysia chief executive officer Fu Yong.

“The arrival of these Jetour Dashing vehicles demonstrates our commitment to the Malaysian market and our response to the incredible enthusiasm we've seen from customers,” he added.

Moving forward, Jetour plans to begin local assembly operations of the Dashing in Malaysia, with Completely Knocked Down (CKD) production scheduled to commence in late May 2025. 

According to the company this strategic move underscores their long-term commitment to the Malaysian market and will enhance its ability to meet consumer demand.

Currently, Jetour has established over 20 service centres across Malaysia to support Dashing owners, with plans to expand to more than 10 new 4S and 3S centres scheduled to open this year alone. 

The Jetour Dashing will be available at all authorised Jetour showrooms nationwide beginning April 2025.
