On the same day GAC announced the GS3 EMZOOM open for booking, they also showcased the C-segment SUV EMKOO, confirmed by WTCM (Warisan Tan Chong Automotif) to enter the Malaysian market later this year.

The GAC EMKOO, is a C-segment SUV that based on the GPMA platform, in near future, EMKOO will be rivalling the C-SUV competitors, like X70, CR-V and CX-5

In it's home country, China, the EMKOO is available in three powertrains, a 2.0L Hybrid (Engine -140PS/180Nm / e-motor182PS/300Nm), a 1.5L Turbo (177PS/270Nm) and a 2.0L turbo (252PS/400Nm). Among these powertrains, the 1.5L Turbo is the most likely to feature in the EMKOO for Malaysian market.

Like the EMZOOM, the EMKOO's exterior is also showing a very futuristic look, Sharp lines and bold designs, the EMKOO is meant to be a head turner. 

The interior of the EMZOOM feels relatively simple, but still, it consist a lot of fine materials and useful equipments like a digital driver display, a panoramic sunroof, crystal gear selector and a massive centre touch screen.
