GGR Motor's new LionG1 e-bike to spearhead company's green initiative
LOCAL automotive brand GGR Motor is stepping up with its green mobility movement with the upcoming launch of its latest motorcycle.
Set to be priced at RM2,054 each, the LionG1 electric bike (e-bike) is positioned to kickstart their “Go Green Revolution” initiative that focuses on a user-friendly and youth-oriented approach to green mobility.
GGR Motor, whose name was inspired by the cult Gila-Gila Remaja film, is set to launch the e-bike in collaboration with its exclusive strategic partner and primary authorised distributor Perniagaan Mazlan & Hashimah (PMH Motor) Sdn Bhd.

“This is not just about launching a product. It’s about shaping a cultural shift. We want the next generation to see green mobility as an everyday lifestyle,” said GGR Motor managing director Muhammad Mussadiq Mohamed Azmi.
Mussadiq added that this launch is just the beginning of the company's efforts to popularise electric motorcycles in Malaysia.
The launch event on June 28 at Saloma, Kuala Lumpur will be attended by notable guests including MARA director general Datuk Zulfikri Osman, whose presence signifies strong institutional support for local green technology - particularly those driven by graduates of MARA’s TVET programmes such as IKM Beseri and UNIKL MFI (Automotive).
Among the public figures expected at the launch are Bella Astillah, Johan Raja Lawak, Nabil Ahmad, Ajak Shiro, Farid Kamil, and Cat Farish.

As the event’s highlight, GGR Motor has also officially extended an invitation to Malaysia’s deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to officiate the unveiling of the new electric motorcycle.
The one-day launch event will also feature performances and appearances by several local celebrities such as Johan, Cat Farish, Ajak Shiro, and Nabil Ahmad.
Mussadiq added that the event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., featuring a launch ceremony, exhibitions, networking sessions with investors and media.

“The evening segment will include community performances, test rides, lucky draws, and casual hangouts with EV enthusiasts. I believe that public awareness and interest is significantly amplified when celebrities adopt EVs.
“These are more than just famous faces—they’re close friends I trust to bring positive energy to the brand,” he commented.
To further spearhead the green mobility movement, GGR Motor is also sponsoring two units of its LionG1 e-bike as giveaway prizes during the Aku Muzik Kamu (AMK Indie 2025) concert which takes place on July 26–27 at the Sepang International Circuit.
“This sponsorship reflects our commitment to give back and to plant the seeds of change toward a sustainable, electric future,” said Mussadiq.
