BOOKINGS for Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia's first completely knocked down (CKD) model has exceeded 1,500 units within a month of its launch.

The company has also successfully completed 200-unit nationwide deliveries of the hybrid-powered sports utility vehicle (SUV). 

According to the company, the Haval H6 HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) has been winning hearts for its C-segment SUV offerings, long range capability (up to 1,000km on a single fuel tank) and attractive warranties.

Priced at RM139,800, the GWM Haval H6 HEV is available in five colours: Energy Green, Ayers Silver, Crayon Grey, Hamilton White, and Sun Black.

It is powered by a 1.5L turbo engine that blends electric and petrol energy to deliver a combined output of 243 PS and 530 Nm of torque. 

Paired to a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) technology the SUV can achieve a 0-100km/h acceleration of 7.7 seconds.

The model comes with a 7-year / 200,000km full vehicle warranty (terms and conditions apply), with first-hand owners (private registration only) enjoying a 10-year / 1,000,000km engine warranty, and an 8-year / 1,000,000km HEV system warranty.

GWM Malaysia is offering 5 years of free maintenance (inclusive of parts and labour) for those who registered their Haval H6 HEV in 2024 as part of an early bird promotion.

Existing GWM vehicle owners are entitled to an additional RM3,000 rebate as part of the GWM Owners Loyalty Offer.
