Recently, KeyAuto.my was invited by GWM Malaysia (Great Wall Motor) to visit and learn about GWM's plans for our local market, them as well showcased the Haval H6 HEV, which will soon be launch in our local market.

The Haval H6, is based on GWM's LEMON platform, it is a C-segment SUV marketed as a urban family style SUV. In our local market, the Haval H6 will be competing against other C-segment SUV such as the Proton X70, Toyota Corolla Cross, Mazda CX-5, and the soon-to-be-launch Chery Tiggo 7 Pro.

The upcoming Haval H6 for our local version is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, generating 150PS/230Nm, paired with a hybrid system producing 177PS/300Nm, resulting in a combined power output of 243PS/530Nm. It comes with a 7DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The exterior of the new H6 closely resembles the familiar looks showcased by GWM Malaysia earlier, featuring Matrix LED headlamps, distinctive taillight lightbar, 19-inch black wheels, electric-powered tailgate, and more.

Inside, GWM added some new elements for the interior, such as multi-colored upholstery, adding a touch of premium feel.

The center screen and driver's display are both 12.3 inches and 10.25 inches, respectively.

Other features include a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging pad, electrically adjustable seats, electronic handbrake, ambient lighting, 360º surround view camera, and a set of Harman Infinity premium sound system.
