GREAT Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia has delivered the first 100 units of the GWM Tank 300 to customers.

The achievement is made even more impressive considering the off-road sports utility vehicle (SUV) was launched only a month ago in mid-July.

“We are delighted for the overwhelming response from the Malaysian customers. This achievement has significantly strengthened our customers’ confidence in our brand and reinforced their support for our top-quality products," said GWM Malaysia managing director Cui An Qi.

 

The 100th unit was handed over to Professor Dr. Steven Leow who fell in love with the model after his first experience with it in China.

“The rugged GWM Tank 300 has caught my attention with its remarkable specifications and technology as a car enthusiast. I never expected an off-road vehicle to compare its comfort level with a sedan car. 

"It (Tank 300) is really beyond my expectations. Not only that but the smart technologies like L2 ADAS, wireless charging, transparent chassis, really pair into the modern lifestyle needs," added Leow.

GWM Malaysia is offering rewards to the first 300 owners of the Tank 300 as a gesture of appreciation. 

They are entitled to a lifetime warranty on the vehicle’s Engine and Transmission (limited to first-hand owner), 5 years of FREE service maintenance (including labour & parts) based on every 10,000kms or 6 months (whichever comes first), a Thule Paramount Backpack worth RM999 and a Thule Adventure Kit Voucher worth RM8,000. 

Additionally, customers who have completed their GWM Tank 300 vehicle registration by Sept 12, 2024 will stand a chance to win a 'Go Adventure with GWM Tank' trip to the Alxa Desert - for which a second station has recently been opened by the company.
