GWM Malaysia's upcoming second Tank model is now available for booking.

The premium off-road sports utility vehicle (SUV) GWM Tank 500 HEV (hybrid) is a 7-seater thats powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder hybrid engine.

Paired with a 9 speed hybrid automatic transmission, the GWM Tank 500 HEV has a combined power of 346Ps and 648 Nm of torque. 

Key highlights of the model centres mostly around its off-road performance that takes advantage of an Intelligent All-terrain system that includes 11 driving modes, Tank Turn, Off-road Cruise Control, intelligent four-wheel drive (4WD) with M-Lock, a transparent chassis, and L2+ driving assist.

Its premium features take centre stage in the cabin with Nappa leather seats, an Infinity sound system, electric side steps, and front seats with both massage and ventilation functions.

Safety is prioritised with an ultra-high-strength body and six airbags that completes the model whose wheelbase is 2,850 mm, and dimensions of 5,078 mm in length, 1,934 mm in width, and 1,905 mm in height.

Customers can choose from three exterior colours: Crystal Gray, Hamilton White, and Sun Black. 

The GWM Tank 500 HEV has an estimated selling price below RM350,000, available exclusively at 14 selected GWM dealerships nationwide.
