JAECOO Malaysia recently tested its maiden premium SUV model, the J7, at the Malaysia 4WD Training and Experience Centre (M4TREC) in Semenyih, showcasing the uncompromised off-road capability.

The J7 showcased superior off-road capabilities across six dynamic terrains, which included the side slope, frame twister, ridge crossing, roller ramp, water wading environments.

The J7 also has a water wading capacity of 600 mm, excelling in M4TREC’s deep water wading environment, a testament to the model’s unparalleled capability in the face of the toughest driving conditions.

The J7 features the advanced All-Road Drive Intelligent System (ARDIS) with seven terrain driving modes, including sand, mud, snowfield, and off-road terrains.

With the 540º camera and 14.8-inch infotainment screen aid navigation, providing driver a clear and blind-spotless view to the surroundings.

Powered by a 1.6TGDI engine delivers 194 HP and 290Nm, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, sending to all four wheel via a inteligent AWD system.

According to Jaecoo, the J7 will be available in two variants: 2WD (estimated at RM150K) and AWD (estimated at RM160K). Anticipated to start deliveries in Q3 of this year, stay excited for the official launch!
