Jaecoo J7 previewed in Malaysia, a premium off-roader brand from China.

Jaecoo is a premium sub brand from Chery, mainly focus in global market, and this J7 we previewed is a off-road capable c-segment suv. Jaecoo J7 will be launched in Malaysia in the second quater this year, locally assembled. 

The Jaecoo J7 is uses a 1.6L TGDi mated to a 7 speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, making 197PS and 290Nm of torque, comes in all wheel drive or front wheel drive variant.

As for dimensions and ground clearence, Jeacoo J7 measures at 4,500mm x 1,865mm x 1,680mm (length, width and height），wheel base is rated at 2,672mm, makes the Jaecoo J7 a pretty standard C-segment suv compare to it's rivals such as the Mazda CX-5(2,700mm) and Honda CR-V(2,701mm).

Ground clearance is rated at 200mm, wading depth up to 600mm, with 21º approach angle and 29º departure angle, ideal for occasional off -roading.

Apart from the technical part, the exterior of the Jaecoo J7 is paird with LED day time running lights, double LED head lights, LED light bar at the rear, flushed door handles and 19'inch 2 toned alloy wheels. 

Interior side, a massive 14.8'inch vertical infotainment touch screen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 10.25'inch driver's display, a head up display, heated and ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a 50W wireless charging pad, sony audio system and a panoramic sunroof.

As for safety, the J7 get full ADAS function such as AEB, BSM, LKA, ACC and more, there's even a 560º surround view monitor for better visability.
