JETOUR has entered the Malaysian market with the launch of its first sports utility vehicle (SUV).

The 5-seater Dashing comes in two variants with the Comfort trim starting from RM109,800 and RM116,800 for the Prime trim - both are powered by a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine that produces a horsepower of 156 PS (115 kw) and 230 Nm torque.

Distinctive elements of the SUV includes intelligent invisible sensing handle that automatically extend when the smart key approaches (that also aim to reduce wind noise and resistance), 19-inch wheel hubs, split matrix LED headlights (with four adjustable height levels and ‘follow-me-home’ functionality), daytime running lights that are paired to its distinctive ‘Mecha-Eyes’ design, and rear lights that incorporate a checkered flag design language.

The interior comes in two colour combinations of off-white or black and red and is highlighted by a 75-inch panoramic sunroof. Other key points are its intelligent voice command technology, a CN95-level air filtration system, customisable ambient lighting in higher trim levels and connectivity features such as wireless device charging and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

Its electric tailgate's height can be programme via the central screen to adapt to the driver’s preferences, and it incorporates anti-pinch protection for enhanced safety. 

Safety comes in the form of blind spot detection using millimetre wave radars that activate at speeds above 15 km/h, lane change warning, rear cross traffic alert, and door open warning.

The model measures at 4,590 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,685 mm in height. It comes in five exterior colours: Carbon Black, Khaki White, Aurora Green, Phantom Grey, and Hematite Red. They are complemented by the two interior themes - dual tone of light and dark with red lining and stitches. 

To support the launch of Dashing, Jetour has implemented an ambitious network expansion, with over 15 sales and service outlets already established throughout Malaysia and a total of 30 new 4S and 3S centres scheduled to open in 2025 alone. 

The model is available for viewing at all authorised Jetour showrooms nationwide beginning April 2025.
