JPJ reintroduced “physical”road tax and driver’s licence.

Before you get confused, this new physical road tax and driver’s license is literally in paper form, will be replacing the current road tax stickers and card type driver’s license.

Anthony Loke said:
"The new paper version of the driver's license and road tax is in a laminated and preserved form, which saves money and is thinner and easier to carry around on the go."

Although that being said, he also encouraged citizens to use the existing e-road tax and e-driver’s license via the MyJPJ app. Anthony Loke explained, during the digitalisation period, many citizens still not adapting the digital road tax and driver’s license, currently people still able to carry their physical drivers license card and display their road tax stickers on their cars.
