The eagerly awaited Kia EV9 is finally making its way to Malaysia, with Kia Malaysia now accepting bookings. The price of the EV9 starts at RM369,668.

As Kia's flagship vehicle, the EV9 stands out with its distinctive design and cutting-edge technology. It's no surprise that the EV9 has been honored with the 2024 World Car of the Year award and the Best of the Best Award by Red Dot Award.

Like the EV6, the EV9 SUV is build on Kia’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), with a size of 5,010mm x 1,980mm x 1,755mm (L x W x H), and a wheelbase rated at 3,100mm. 

The exterior of the EV9 embodies a boxy and futuristic aesthetic, highlighted by Kia's signature Digital Tiger Face design at the front. Both the front and rear lighting feature LEDs, and the car sits on 21-inch alloy wheels. Additionally, the EV9 also boasts GT-Line body aesthetics, further enhancing the overall image of the vehicle.

Inside, being a flagship model, the EV9 boasts all the premium elements one would expect. This includes a dual 12.3-inch display located on the dashboard, with the infotainment display supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. 

Further more, the interior features leatherette-wrapped upholstery, a high-output wireless phone charging pad, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated seats and more. Additionally, the EV9 featured 14-speaker Meridian premium audio system as standard equiptment.

powering the EV9 is a 99.8kWh battery pack, dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, able to produce a total output of 380hp/700Nm. Maximum electric range is able to travel up to 505KM according to WLTP's range test standard.

As for charging, the EV9 supports up to 350kW DC fast charging and up to 11kW of AC charging. Charging from 10% to 80% via DC only takes 24 minutes. In addition, the car also supports up to 3.6kWh V2L (vehicle to load) power supply.

The Kia EV9 is available in 5 colours, Ocean Blue, Snow White Pearl, Pebble Gray, Aurora Black Pearl and Iceberg Green.
