
KLIMS 2024: Honda e:N1 to be introduced in Malaysia next year

BIG news for Honda and electric vehicle (EV) fans alike.
In addition to showcasing the Prelude Concept, Honda Malaysia also announced it was introducing its first battery electric vehicle (BEV) in 2025.
The front-wheel drive (FWD) electrified Honda e:N1, which is currently on display at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2024, borrows its design from the HR-V.
Nothing else has been confirmed including local specs or actual date of launch.



Going by details on the e:NS1 and e:Ny1, which it is known as in China and Europe respectively, the BEV comes with a 68.8 kWh battery that has a WLTP range of up to 412 km.
DC charging is up to 78 kW with an estimated 45 minutes for a 10-80% recharge while AC is at 11 kW with a full charge at an estimated six hours.
The model is powered by a front-mounted motor that delivers 204 PS and 310 Nm of torque that translates to a top speed of 160 km/h and a century sprint in 7.7 seconds.

In addition to the e:N1 and Prelude Concept, Honda Malaysia is also exhibiting its future mobility and innovation concepts such as the Motocompacto and Honda eVTOL at the 10th edition of KLIMS.
KLIMS 2024 is held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from Dec 5-11.
