SAIC Motor Malaysia's first iconic all-electric two-seat roadster is officially here at a blazing value.
The company initially hinted that the MG Cyberster was estimated to be below RM350,000. They've kept to their word and gave it a hot price of RM319,900.
Additionally the price includes a comprehensive MG Cyberster Warranty Package and Buyers’ Package that comes with the following:
∙7-year or 150,000km Mileage Vehicle Warranty
∙8-year or 180,000km Mileage High-Voltage Battery Pack
∙8-year or 160,000km Mileage Drive Motor and Motor Control Unit
∙1-year Unlimited Charging with JomCharge and Auto Charge Function
∙Complimentary 7kW Wallbox Charger - installation not included




It only comes in one variant with four colours to choose from: Dynamic Red, Camden Grey, Inca Yellow, and English White.
The Dynamic Red and Camden Grey options feature black and red interiors, while Inca Yellow and English White come with grey interiors. All models are enhanced by a sleek black hood.
At the heart of the roadster is a dual motor all-wheel drive (4WD) system setup that delivers 503 PS (375 kW) and a maximum torque of 725 Nm. This translates to a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.2 seconds.
Its 77 kWh battery delivers a WLTP driving range of 446 km while supporting 7 kW AC charging (from 10-100% in approximately 10.5 hours) and rapid 150 kW DC charging (10-80% charge in 38 minutes).



Featuring a bold, low-profile silhouette and retractable scissor doors the exterior of the roadster is also highlighted by its 20-inch Jetstream alloy wheels, striking red calipers, and automatic LED headlamps with daytime running lights (DRL).
Inside the cabin is a sports interior package that encompasses Leather Sports Seats featuring Alcantara inserts and a Nappa Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel.
The infotainment system combines a 7-inch central touch screen display, a 10.25-inch driver display, and two 7-inch auxiliary screens on either side - paired to an 8-speaker Bose audio system.




Safety is with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) under the name MG Pilot to include features such as: Front Collision Warning (FCW) and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) (with Pedestrian and Bicycle Detection), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Traffic Jam Assistance (TJA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Change Assist (LCA), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Intelligent High Beam Assist.
The MG Cyberster is currently on display at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2024 (KLIMS 2024) which is held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from Dec 5-11.
