AUTOMOBILI Lamborghini is hitting record figures once again.
In addition to introducing three new cars in just 18 months, the company also closed the first nine months of 2024 with its best results ever in terms of deliveries, revenues and operating profit.
A total of 8,411 cars were delivered (+8.6% over the same period in 2023), generating revenues of 2,434 million euros and an increase of 20.1% versus last year, and an operating profit of 678 million euros: an increase of 9.8% compared to 2023.
Automobili Lamborghini managing director and chief financial officer Paolo Poma commented that the year’s first nine months’ results demonstrate the exceptional execution of the company's strategy.
"We have solidified an excellent level of profitability notwithstanding the challenging commercial environment. Our third-quarter results further boost expectations of another record year, once again confirming our position among the most profitable brands in the luxury segment," Poma added.
According to the company all its models remain in high demand with a solid and continuously expanding order bank.
The waiting time for Revuelto alone exceeds two years while the Urus SE, which launched last April, has a order bank that covers all of 2025 production.
Orders for the new Temerario, the star of the quarter which was unveiled during Monterey Car Week, officially started arriving in September with a very positive response from the public.
Chairman and chief executive officer Stephan Winkelmann stated that this is a crucial moment for the company, highlighting the importance and impact of the transformation they are experiencing.
"The extremely positive performance we are seeing is the result of an unprecedented chapter for Automobili Lamborghini, marked by the introduction of three new cars in just 18 months and culminating in the significant milestone of fully hybridizing our range with the presentation of the Lamborghini Temerario," he added.
The milestones achieved are said to also further strengthen the company's position in the luxury automotive industry and lay a solid foundation for future growth and innovation strategies.
