The A250 4Matic AMG Line has a sportier exterior. The front and rear light units have been slightly redesigned, the front and rear bumpers are more aggressive and a set of better looking AMG wheels, all thanks to the AMG line body kit treatment.

However, apart from the steering wheel and the removal of the MBUX track pad control panel, the interior remains largely unchanged. It is worth noting that the new MBUX system now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The facelifted A250 retains its 2.0L turbocharged inline-four cylinder powertrain (224hp/350Nm) paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. However, Mercedes-Benz has now introduced a 48V mild-hybrid system into the A250, which can add an extra 14hp to the engine's total output when needed.
The A250 is now all-wheel drive, as indicated by the name 4MATIC. However, it may be unnecessary for this car since it remains front-wheel biased most of the time, and only sends power to the rear when the rear wheels lose traction.
