
All Michelin tyres are EV compatible, said Michelin Malaysia!
Michelin Tyre Malaysia recently announced that all their products are EV compatible, guaranteeing a comfortable ride, excellent performance, and improved mileage for electric vehicle owners.



EV tyres wears out faster than regular ICE vehicle, due to greater torque and heavier weight. Therefore, under Michelin Tyre's technology, their product are able to provide decent rolling resistance, better performance over time and quietness for the overall ride.

Prichapakorn Dangrojana, the Managing Director of Michelin Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, expressed pride in Michelin's achievements in 2023. He highlighted Michelin's commitment to meeting customer and partner expectations, emphasizing that mobility extends beyond cars in Malaysia. Michelin aims to deliver innovation, sustainability, and performance tailored to meet diverse Malaysian needs, enriching lives on and off the road.

In 2023, Michelin Group achieved a record operating income of €3.57 billion (US$3.85 billion), driven by a strong mix, improved performance, and price effects. In Malaysia, the premium tire segment, particularly 18-inch and above rim sizes for passenger cars, doubled in size over five years due to SUV growth.


Michelin expanded its presence with 211 locations including TYREPLUS outlets and MICHELIN Expert Centres in Malaysia.


Additionally, they introduced VELO bicycle tires to revolutionize cycling with meticulously designed products for safety, durability, and performance.
