Seems like this the last "special edition" Triton before Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) introduce the next gen Mitsubishi Triton. 

MMM posted an image featuring a blacked-out current-gen Triton along with the words, 'Something different is coming.' This was followed by a caption: 'A new face of adventure is almost here. Are you ready for the reveal? Stay tuned to this space to learn more.' on MMM's social media account.

Throughout the Triton's lifespan in Malaysia, Mitsubishi launched two special editions for the Triton: the 'Knight Edition' and the 'Phantom Plus Edition.' Following this, the number increased to three. Based on the previous scheme, this new Triton should be just a body aesthetic makeover with some additional accessories.
