Besides the new Porsche Taycan launch, only 6 months since the Macan EV made it's first debut in Singapore, Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), Porsche also bringing us the all new electric Macan 4 and high performance Macan Turbo. Both Macan EV are open for pre-order from today.

The new Porsche Macan EV is built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), utilizing the 800V architecture like the Taycan, for your infomation, the new Macan is the second genaration since the first gen was debut back in 2014.

The new Macan looks futuristic with its coupé body styling, taking the sporty SUV to another level. At the front, the new Macan EV features a split headlamp design, with the upper part serving as the LED DRLs and the main headlight located in the front bumper. Additionally, an LED light bar is used for the tail lights.

In terms of body dimensions, the new Macan EV are 4,784mm long, 1,938mm wide and 1,622mm high, and a 2,893mm wheelbase.

Porsche is aware that aerodynamics are crucial for EVs, and it's even more important for a bulky EV SUV. Therefore, the Porsche design team has made significant efforts to keep the new Macan as aerodynamic as possible. They have added a series of aerodynamic parts to the Macan EV, resulting in a very low drag coefficient of 0.25cd, which Porsche says contributes to an extra 85 km of EV range.

As for the interior, the new Macan EV shares some design elements with the Taycan, but it has its own character. Therefore, it features three screens on the dash: a 12.6-inch driver display, a 10.2-inch center infotainment screen, and a 10.2-inch passenger infotainment screen.

The new-generation infotainment system is based on Android Automotive OS. The standard Porsche Communication Management (PCM). Additionally, the new Macan includes an AR head-up display as standard equipment as well. 

The new Macan Turbo comes standard with an air suspension features Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), made the new Macan handling better than ever. Of course, the air suspension and PASM are optional for the base Macan 4 as well. 

Other than that, rear-axle steering are optional for the new Macan as well. To note that, the rear-steering has up to 5º of steering angle, further enhance the manoeuverbility of the new Macan.

Both Macan variants come with a standard 100kWh battery and can accept up to 270kW DC fast charging, enabling a charge from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes at a charge station that supports 800V. On the other hand, charging at a 400V charging stations, maximum charging power are caped at 135 kW.
