However, Chery Malaysia also confirmed that 600 units of the OMODA 5 are potentially affected by this product quality issue. As a result, they will be contacting the affected car owners to arrange for parts replacement.
All fees for parts replacement will be covered by Chery Malaysia, and according to the company, the replacement process will take only 2 hours.
