TESLA Malaysia's Model Y formally gets the 'Juniper' update.

The 2025 Model Y comes with a bespoke cyber redesigned exterior from the front bumper to the taillight - the new cross car lightbar at the front and the industry first indirect reflective body panel taillight are inspired by the Cybertruck and Cybercab.

Other various unique designs includes a customized launch badge at the rear, puddle light badge and doorsill plate with ‘Launch Series’ wordmark that welcomes you every time you enter the vehicle.

It also comes with newly designed wheels and a rear diffuser that reduces air resistance and optimize the lift balance between the front and rear wheels to enhance rear-wheel downforce - with the aim for a quieter, more stable, and highly efficient experience at high speeds. 

The interior features a special launch design with silver accents for the centre charging console and an all-black vegan suede interior trim. 

Noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) of the cabin has been improved with double-layer glass for all windows, while the panoramic glass roof is said to now further reduce the UV rays and heat entering the cabin 7 times better than before.

Signature features of the Model 3, such as ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, and second-row 8-inch touchscreen display for passengers are also present.

Customers can now adjust the position or fold down the rear passenger seats at the press of a button, to access over 2,130 liters storage space.  

Two variants are available to the 2025 Model Y with the Rear-wheel drive (RWD) variant housing 9 speakers while the Long Range All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variant comes with 15 speakers and 1 subwoofer. 

The standard RWD has a 466 km (WLTP) range with a century sprint time of 5.9 sec. The Long Range variant can go for 551 km at full charge and has a 0-100 km/h acceleration at 4.3 sec (recorded acceleration is only available in the new Model Y Long Range Launch Series). Both variants have a top speed of 201 km/h.

The Model Y Juniper RWD and Long Range are priced from RM 195,450 and RM 242,450, respectively. The model also introduces a new Glacier Blue paint option.

Available for order on Tesla Malaysia's website, the model is on display at Pavilion Damansara Heights from now to March 2, 2025 and at Mid Valley Southkey from today until February 23, 2025.
