Official merchandise will come in a range of apparels and accessories such as neck t-shirts, retro collared t-shirts and round neck t-shirts unique graphics that feature some of the more iconic (Japan Domestic Model) (JDM) models such as the R33, R34 and R35 Nissan GT-Rs, Honda Civic FK8 and FL5 Type R, Mitsubishi Evo X, and Toyota AE86 and Supra.

Those who purchase TASKL 2024's official merchandises also stand to gain a 5% discount if they buy them online via the website.

An event-only limited and special edition 1/64 diecast Chameleon Nissan GT-R R33 (Nismo 400R) is available for fans to secure online with the purchase of any ticket or at the show (while stocks are available).

2024 will also see the introduction of TASKL 2024 ambassadors who will be joined by brand ambassadors and race queens from Japan. One of the Malaysian brand ambassadors will stand a chance of representing Malaysia at the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon in Japan.

“With 91,000 recorded visitors at the inaugural Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur in 2023, we have to step up our game this year. The expectation from fans will continue to grow and rest assured, we have curated a show that will not disappoint them,” said Element X Strategies director and chief executive officer Jason Yap.

“Like the original show in Japan, a great deal of planning and preparation has gone into ensuring that the exhibits this year continue to supersede the expectations of fans,” he added.

Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur is currently the only show that is held outside of Japan under license and modeled directly after the world famous annual Tokyo Auto Salon in Japan. The show is hosted in Malaysia by Element X Strategies as the sole official licensee and Muse Group Asia as the co-organizer, in collaboration with San Ei Corporation as the owner of the Tokyo Auto Salon intellectual property, and the Tokyo Auto Salon Federation.

“It’s going to be a supercharged experience for visitors and exhibitors.... The Japanese tuners and exhibitors who took part in 2023 were so taken aback by the reception of Malaysian fans that they will be back in a bigger way this year,” said Muse Group Asia chief executive officer Riduwan Matni.
