TWO of Volvo Car Malaysia's 2025 flagship sports utility vehicles (SUVs) is now available for booking.
The EX90 is Volvo’s first fully electric, seven-seater model with more than 600km of electric range and a century sprint of less than five seconds.
Malaysia is one of the first Asia Pacific markets to introduce the EX90 after Thailand’s launch last year.
Highlights of the model includes the Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity audio and powered folding seats to expand luggage space at a touch of a button.

Its plug-in hybrid counterpart is the 2025 XC90, which encompasses the XC90's first major facelift since the current generation was introduced 10 years ago.
Volvo Car Malaysia managing director Chris Wailes commented that battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) models already made up more than 80 percent of Volvo's sales last year.
“We are making good progress towards our global ambitions of 90 to 100 percent electrified car sales before the end of the decade with the imminent introduction of the Volvo EX90 and new XC90 for Malaysia.

“The EX90 is a compelling addition to our current BEV portfolio of compact SUVs as it represents an option for owners who require more space, luxury, comfort and technology in a powerful, fully electric package. The EX90 complements the new, facelifted XC90 as the best of Volvo with our unwavering focus on safety to give you the freedom to move,” Wailes added.
Retail prices for both models in Malaysia are expected to be around the RM450,000 mark with further details of trim level and vehicle specifications to be announced.
