Last Saturday, Volvo Malaysia hosted a safety driving experience at the Sungai Besi airstrip, with over 240 participants learning and practicing safety driving skills.

At the event, Participants were guided by certified instructors in the basics of safe driving, starting from basics such as hand and seating positions.

Moreover, there are also a series of advance driving lessons like emergency braking, emergency avoidence, slalom driving and even had the opportunity to experience the cars’ acceleration and handling on KL Base’s 1.8km-long runway.

Volvo also showcased their on selling models includes the XC90, XC60, XC40, S90, S60 and V60.

The latest 2024 Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric in Vapour Grey color was also unveiled at the event. Upgraded with a larger 82kWh battery pack and faster 200kW DC charging speed, its range has been increased to 550km with Pixel LED Pixel Headlamp technology, and the price remains unchanged at RM288,888.

The event was supported by Generali, the official insurance partner; Pirelli, the official tire sponsor; IKEA, the caterer and children's play provider; and PURAS, the premium essential oil provider.
