ZEEKR will soon be electrifying the Malaysia with the debut of its first two models.

The X and 009 models are now available for booking on their website and will come under the purview of Sentinel Automotive Sdn Bhd who is the local distributor and provider of sales, after-sales service and spare parts of the Zeekr brand.

The X's indicative pricing is RM180,000 and below while the 009’s is estimated to be priced RM370,000 and below. 

The booking fee is set at RM2,000 and RM4,000 for the respective models.

Zeekr X 

The Zeekr X is a compact urban all-electric sports utility vehicle (SUV) fitted with a 66kWh battery and equipped with 150kW DC charging capable of charging the vehicle from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes.

It is available in two variants – Premium and Flagship all-wheel drive (AWD). 

Able to achieve 0-100km/h in 5.6 seconds, the Premium variant is powered by a single rear motor (rear wheel drive, RWD) that delivers 268HP.

The top range Flagship AWD comes with a dual motor setup that produces 422HP. The variant's century sprint is attained in just 3.8 seconds, reportedly making it one of the most powerful and quickest electric SUVs in its segment and price bracket. 

Both variants are offered in five exterior colours: Crystal White, Mist Grey, Grid Grey, Palace Beige and Pine Green. Interior trim comes in Charcoal Black and Stone Grey.

Earning 5-star Euro NCAP and Green NCAP ratings, both variants come fully equipped with the Passenger Guard Passenger Protection System that includes 7 air bags, 360° Camera and Digital Video Record (DVR). 

Its full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features encompasses: advanced Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic Lane Change (ALC), Lane Centering Control (LCC), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) (including LDW, LDP, ELKA), Collision Mitigation Support Front (CMSF), Collision Mitigation Support Rear (CMSR), Door Open Warning (DOW); Front Cross Traffic Assist (FCTA), Rear Cross Traffic Assist (RCTA), Parking Emergency Braking (PEB), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Evasive Manoeuvre Assist (EMA); Automated Parking Assist (APA) and Driver Performance Monitor (DPM).

Zeekr 009

Much the X, the Zeekr 009 multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) is also available in two variants – a Luxury 7-seater and the Ultra Luxury 6-seater.

Both run on High Performance Dual Motors that deliver 603HP and 693 Nm of torque which translates to a 0-100km/h in just 4.5 seconds.

The 116kWh battery it comes with delivers a WLTP range of 582km and is capable of 150kW DC charging - 10-80% charge in just 30 minutes.

Its intelligent four-wheel drive system is supported by a double-wishbone multi-link independent suspension set-up. 

This is complemented by electromagnetic vibration-damping technology air suspension and an automatic leveling function. The vehicle is rated at a low 64.5 dB noise level at 120km/h.

Other external features includes an intelligent Matrix LED projection headlights, Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) with Intelligent Zoning Lighting, and LED daytime running lights. 

In the cabin is where the 009 ramps up its intelligent technology with: driver’s 10.25-inch full HD LCD meter cluster and 35.95-inch augmented reality (AR) head up display, 15.05-inch OLED touch screen infotainment system, 17-inch OLED roof mounted screen for the second row door Smartbar screen, 30 Yamaha surround luxury speakers with loudspeakers in the seat headrests, 50W mobile phone wireless charging, 9 USB Type C ports, CarPlay and Android Auto Connected Service System, and face recognition driver monitoring system (DMS).

Driver and front passenger seats are equipped with 12-way adjustments memory seats, massage function and ventilation. Meanwhile, the second row passenger seats have a 1.1-meter Ultra Long Electric Slide Rail for adjustments. The front passenger seat position can also be adjusted from the second row. 

Sofaro First Class Aeronautic seats are present while the second row comes equipped with independent wide armrests with seat adjustment controls - adjustable leg rest, seat ventilation, massage and memory functions, and third row one-button electric easy entry and exit function.

The 009's Vehicle Guard/Vehicle Safety Protection System suite includes a 360° camera and digital video recording. 

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) incorporates Lane Centering Control (LCC), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Support Front (CMSF), Collision Mitigation Support Rear (CMSR), Lane Keeping System; Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Door Open Warning (DOW), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Driver Performance Monitor (DPM), Speeding Reminder Warning, and Parking Emergency Brake.

Both variants are offered in Phantom Black, Electric Blue and Crystal White Pearl exterior colours with three options of soft Nappa leather interior colours: Black; Stone Grey and Polar White, and Midnight Blue and Polar White.
