BMW Malaysia's 5 Series took centre stage at the SKY5PACE event in Kuala Lumpur.

Attendees got to preview, among other models, the newly launched 2024 BMW 520i M Sport and the i5 eDrive40 M Sport.

The latter was decked out in optional M Performance Parts which encompassed: the M Performance Front Splitter, M Performance Side Skirts, M Performance Rear Diffuser, M Performance Rear Spoiler, M Performance exterior mirror caps and 21-inch M Performance light alloy wheel Cross-spoke style 943 M Bicolor (Jet Black, gloss-milled), summer complete wheel set.

Other non-5 Series models on display at the event were the i7 xDrive60 M Sport and 750e xDrive M Sport.

"As it stands, BMW Group Malaysia is still the largest assembler and exporter of premium vehicles to the region with over 10,000 vehicles successfully exported since 2018,” said BMW Group Malaysia managing director Benjamin Nagel.

The recommended retail pricing for the 520i M Sport starts from RM349,800 (on the road, without insurance, including the complete BMW Group Malaysia Premium Ownership experience) with the BMW Service & Repair inclusive add-on costing an additional RM26,900 - latter consists of the 5-Year Extended Warranty and Service Package.

BMW Group Financial Services Easy Drive financing offers rates with up to 30% lower monthly instalments and Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) for the vehicle at the end of its financing tenure, with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM3,824.

Similarly the i5 eDrive40 M Sport comes with a RM399,800 price tag while the add-on is priced at RM20,300.

Easy Drive Financing Plan gives owners of the i5 eDrive40 M Sport the option to a monthly instalment plan starting from RM4,492 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a 5-Year tenure).

Customers can also finance their i5 eDrive40 M Sport starting from 0.88% with BMW Straight Line financing from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia. 

Through it customers can own the model with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM4,416 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a 7-Year tenure).

The complete BMW Group Malaysia Premium Ownership experience which includes: BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline, BMW Service Online, and complimentary 2-Year replacement car - the latter is applicable for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) when vehicle is financed with BMW Easy Drive Financing and insured with BMW Comprehensive Motor Insurance.

Owners of the i5 eDrive40 M Sport will also receive the BMW 8-Year / 160,000 km battery warranty (whichever comes first).
